Facilities accommodate modules up to 3 × 3 m, with specialized expertise for thin-film and perovskite technologies supporting robust evaluation of components and suppliers. Testing and certification services include power measurements at ±1.8% uncertainty, type testing to IEC 61215/61730, bifacial module measurements (IEC TS 60904-1-2), supplier benchmarking, accelerated ageing, and pre/post-delivery validation.
Accelerated ageing capabilities cover UV simulation equivalent to 25 years of exposure, dynamic mechanical load testing, ammonia and salt-spray corrosion, and detection of PID and LeTID degradation. Long-term reliability is assessed through extreme mechanical stress, repeated thermal cycling, high humidity, and UV exposure to confirm decades-long stable output. Additional tests include wet insulation testing for electrical safety under rain, fog, or dew, and static mechanical load testing simulating snow and wind.
Following international standards such as IEC 60904-1 Ed. 3.0, AIT helps manufacturers validate performance and access new markets through quality assurance, specialized module testing, and precise efficiency measurements for modern PV technologies.
