  • Home-developed robotic aging setup
  • Ages 50–200 individual samples (absorbers on glass up to full devices)
  • 25–110 °C, 0.5–2 sun equivalent illumination Intermediate photoluminescence + absorption measurements at variable intervals
  • Flexible for alternative bandgap absorbers

This home-developed robotic setup enables accelerated ageing of 50–200 individual samples in parallel—ranging from absorbers on glass to full devices—under controlled stress conditions (25–110 °C, 0.5–2 sun equivalent illumination). Photoluminescence and absorption measurements are automatically collected for each sample at user-defined, variable intervals throughout the ageing process.

Validated on a range of 1.5–2 eV perovskite absorbers, the platform can be adapted to alternative bandgap materials through reconfiguration of the spectrometer/laser/filter combination.
